4. Efficient Decision-Making: Our visits can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on various factors. For efficiency, please ensure all decision-makers are present.

How much does a roof replacement cost?

• When preparing your work order, Certified Roofing and Exteriors considers many variables that are specific to your roof, including your preferences, what material you pick, your budget and goals, and even where you live. We carry several different brands, so we are able to hit almost EVERY budget out there. We even offer a “Best Price Guarantee.” Share your budget with us prior to your appointment and we will find the right product that fits your needs.

How will we protect your home during the shingle removal process?

• We help by removing your patio furniture, grills, toys or anything else that could be damaged during the process, protecting what is important to you.
• We cover all valuable landscaping and flower beds and provide protection around all areas that shingles are being removed from.
• Check if valuable things are in the attic and either cover them or remove them during the process. 
• Remove anything of value from all shelves and anything hanging from a wall.
• Remove all cars from the garage or driveway during the process.
• The process is noisy and may affect your pets, if possible, find another place for them to hang out during the process, most installations are a day or two.

Condition of My Current Roof

• All the old shingles should be removed to provide a clear vision of the condition of your current roof deck. If any areas are rotten or if we discover bad wood, it will be replaced before any of the roofing installation will occur.

Roof Size

• The size of your roof and its complexity is the biggest cost factor. Divide the number of square feet of roof surface area by 100 to get the roofing square number. Don’t forget to factor in waste of usually 10%. Cost per square usually includes materials and installation.                    

Please note, this is not the same square footage of your home.

Roof Materials

• This is the most variable cost. Our options range from asphalt shingles, standing seam metal, and even asphalt coated metal roofs.

Slope and pitch of roof

• Steep roofs are more labor intensive, which will increase the cost. The pitch and complexity of the roof will influence the roofing materials selected, which will also impact cost.

Where you live

• We don’t just price a roof, we factor in the cost of living, climate, local building codes and permit requirements, high wind areas, sand and many are variables.

• Certified Roofing and Exteriors generates the most accurate measurements (and a whole lot more) from a few photos of your home.
• Those photos not only produce the most accurate measurements in the industry, but also create a 3D model of your actual home ready for you to style.
